More Ways To Help

Welcome

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to String of Pearls Animal Sanctuaries, Inc., Shenandoah County’s FIRST animal rescue, adoption and sanctuary organization dedicated to saving lives.

"Pearls” provides a no-kill alternative to the rescue of animals in Shenandoah County and the surrounding areas.

“Pearls” uses a pre-designed, deliberately decentralized approach to the problem of unwanted animals. We are a “string” of private volunteers who join together to provide the greatest number of homes for animals, with the least medical risk and most socialization possible.

How You Can Help

Our dream truly depends on you, because without you, only a precious few can be saved. Pearls is 100% dependent upon donations from the public. we have deliberately kept our capacity very small, because of our commitment to the best for each Pearl. In a very real sense, you hold the key to our success. The more you give, the more animals we can save.

- Your $35 contribution can spay a young female cat and assure her of a life free of unwanted kittens.
- A $20 gift will buy a puppy protection from distemper, rabies and parvovirus.
- $100 will feed an adult small dog for 6 months.
- $25 keeps the feet of one of our aged horse herd trimmed and healthy.

Your contributions are tax-deductible. String of Pearls Animal Sanctuaries, Inc. has received its 501(c)3 designation from the Internal Revenue Service. All donations to Pearls are tax-deductible according to current IRS regulations for public charities. Registered with the Commissioner as required by law. Registration does not imply an endorsement for a public solicitation for contributions.
